:::Administrator's GUI:::

Post  Learn your ABC's with S7 on Thu Sep 23, 2010 6:59 pm

Here is something I have designed with the minimal experience I have. This is a concept, and if you choose to build upon it,
I am sure you will be occupied by the many possible flaws and miscalculations to improve on. Next to each button, I have left
a space in case I have more time later to add small icons resembling the action/function it is designated to. I have also added
short-cut keys next to each option, including bringing up the administrator's menu by pressing Ctrl+A. These options include
"Forum Options"
These options are capable of editing, notifying, deleting, and disabling certain options of a post. You may notify the user of
a warning of an offensive post that goes against regulations, delete it after repeated and continous abusive posting, and disabling
certain options in a post such as adding links, pictures, smilies, and possibly even apply to further posts the user contributes.
It is here that you may disable the ability of a user to post on any forum or subject.
"Promotion Options"
These options allow the moderator/administrator to promote a well-natured or decent post that is helpful and will assist future
users who have recently joined. This includes stickying a topic, locking a topic in order to prevent further posting which might
stray off-topic, promoting it to the position of an important announcement if of equal value and relevance to an official one made
by a moderator/administrator, and even the ability to force the topic to front page for a set duration of time. You will also have
the option to create a stickied topic by going to this set of options and selecting "Create Sticky."
"Member Identification"
There aren't many options available in this category of the menu as of yet, but I'm planning on adding more or having contributors
and GUI makers think of something to include as well. This specific category focuses on the member at-hand, including a "full"
profile of the member to which normal members have no access to. You can temporarily suspend an account, ban an account,
or send a notification to that account. There is the possibility of reducing their bricks and reputation as well.

Thank you for reading this far. I will now present the concept itself. Please be critical of it, and possibly offer your own ideas.

Thanks --- S7UFF 1T N003

I don't know how I would make this. The forum already has it's own admin menu.

First of all, that is off-topic. You do not need to clarify my current location in the suggestions forum, which is highly irrelevant.
You should critically analyze your post and reflect on this, thinking and being knowledgable about how your actions and trying
to be less of a moron. Please do not trail off-topic next time, dear sir.

I live in Japan. I'm surprised you could tell the difference between Japan and China. Majority of the population doesn't know shit
about either one of them. Such ignorance that is tolerated in the world, it highly disgusts me.

I iz serious adminz.
